Introducing the Summer 2015 Collection from Napa Valley Linens! Summer is nearly here and we are so excited to share some of the new linens that are joining our collection for the Summer 2015 wedding season! While we have introduced a number of gorgeous prints and bold colors already this year, our latest additions are keeping things nude and neutral! Check out the newest offerings in our ever-expanding collection of luxury linens, and find out why we’re all about the neutrals this season!

Introducing Kildare –

Our newest addition to our collection of organic textured linens is called Kildare! A more lightweight version of our classic Summer Sugar, Kildare blends natural textures with soft colors. The tone on tone look of Kildare Tweed and the creamy texture of Kildare Shell were chosen to add a touch of luxury to outdoor winery and ranch weddings, or to bring a touch of the countryside into a ballroom! Introducing River –

A personal favorite with the NVLadies, River combines delicate chiffon layers with flowing strands of silver sequins. The effect is a romantic filmy overlay that adds a touch of romance to any setting. The pale, ethereal color and hint of sparkle is the perfect accent for a standout Sweetheart Table or Wedding Cake Display. Available in small rounds and table runners.

Introducing Flora –

Another delicate overlay, Flora is available in soft Blush and Matte Gold. The petite sequin patterns call to mind floral lace, creating a gorgeous effect over crisp white linens or rich wood tables. Another specialty table linen, Flora comes in small rounds and table runners to add a romantic accent to tables in the spotlight.

Loving these cream, blush, and gold shades? So are we! The runways were filled with elegant tone on tone neutrals for spring and we loved the versatility and elegance of the soft hues. Lighter colors and rich texture are a must when it comes to selecting linens for the long term – the shades are easy to work into any venue, and offer a wealth of choices when it comes to selecting flowers and table decor! We had a great time styling these new linens with some elegant blush and white flowers for a pop of color, along with place settings fromBright Event Rentals!

Today’s feature is from the most chic birthday ever and this amazing backyard soirée got us envisioning a glam engagement party! Lindsay Lauren Events created a welcoming but utterly stylish table for friends and family to gather around, draped in our Paris Gold sequins and set with lots and lots of champagne! To create an effortlessly stylish look that blended high glamour with the laid back elegance of the backyard, Lindsay Lauren Events created one grand King’s table to bring guests together. Our matte gold sequin Paris Linen added some gorgeous glitter to the table, set with individual bottles of Veuve Clicquot at each seat. To make each guest feel truly honored, the hostess tucked hand lettered menus into each napkin, and gifted them with silver frames holding a photo of a significant moment shared.

Guests played croquet on the lawn, enjoying the decadent cheese display along with expertly paired wines before taking their seats for dinner. Champagne flowed for toast after toast, with a table set with our Art Deco-inspired Cleo Gold Linen to display the vintages on hand. Fraiche Catering treated everyone to an incredible meal to pair with their bubbly!

As the East Coast digs itself out of the seemingly never-ending winter and the West Coast basks in the early spring sun, we thought this citrus summer wedding shoot from Fondly Forever Photography and Summer Newman Events would get everyone in the mood for warmer weather! One look at this California chic shoot and you can hear the birds chirping, smell the fresh grass on the summer breeze, and feel the warmth of the sun. To perfectly capture the laid back elegance of a Southern California wedding, Summer Newman designed a shoot that gorgeously contrasted lush green foliage and vibrant flowers with neutral prints.

To capture the laid-back style of the Hollywood Hills, the aptly named Summer set the shoot in the backyard of a sophisticated SoCal home of a friend. Verdant green hedges surrounding the lawn made it into an oasis of calm and vibrant colors. For the ceremony, K. Burnham Floral Design created an arch of greenery, dotted with bright berries. Elegant neutral chairs and a natural aisle runner added depth to the field of green.

With an intimate celebration in mind, Summer styled a long King’s table with our large-scale print, Ankara Taupe linen. A garland of greenery and bright flowers down the center of the table echoed the ceremony decor, while enormous crystal candelabras added an element of subtle glamour.

Is there anything better than getting an excuse to redecorate? Our Emeryville showroom got a makeover for spring, with pastels and prints that are perfect for the season! Showroom partner Bright Event Rentals provided us with some amazing tabletop details and furniture to style with some of our patterned linens on display.

The softer pastel hues that we chose to display are perfect for spring, but that doesn’t mean that we had to go traditional for our showroom! Our Anthropologie-esque Brighton P eriwinkle unites a swirling, paisley-inspired print with a soft palette of pale blue, violet, and chartreuse. To create a modern, relaxed look that’s perfect for an al fresco wine country dinner, we paired the pattern with tone on tone ivory china from Bright Event Rentals and our new Hemstitch Natural Napkins. Rustic wine barrel hurricane lanterns filled in for a centerpiece, while blue glasses and frosted purple votives added colored accents that tied in with the hues in the print.

Double table runners have become one of our favorite new trends, and this modern industrial table is a perfect example. The shifting blues and yellow stripes of our Nantucket Bay runners added a bold accent to the clean lines of the table decor – modern, square place settings, hurricane lanterns, and small potted herbs for a hint of green. The weathered wood table and metal stools added a great, industrial edge to the look!

Our last table is also the most traditional – the medallion design of our Kate Wedgwood linen is a large-scale but elegant print, so clean and simple eggshell place settings were the perfect pairing. In keeping with the upscale al fresco theme of the showroom, rustic wood lanterns and moss balls added an outdoorsy touch.

We adore shoots like this because they give us a chance to collaborate with some of the incredibly talented event professionals in our ever-expanding community. This shoot was conceived and designed by Creative Flow Company and shot by one of our Bay Area boys, Clane Gessel Photography! Wente Vineyards provided a gorgeous backdrop for the colorful pastel flower arrangements from Roots and Stems. The copper vessels and beaded chargers added an on-trend metallic look to the eclectic flowers – king and pincushion protea, air plants, and cacti added an unexpected touch to romantic spring flowers like tulips, sweet peas, and ranunculus.
