With a ‘Key to my Heart’ theme and a gorgeous palette of blush, white, and gold, this shoot became an instant Valentine’s Day classic! San Francisco’s Nimitz Mansion was the perfect choice for an intimate celebration – the striking architectural details created a lovely backdrop for the shoot, from the candle-lined aisle leading to the ornate mantel, and the gold chandeliers hanging over the Head Table.

Stylist and Planner Charmed Events Group used the crisp white walls of the mansion as a clean white backdrop and chose a romantic palette of blush and gold. Poppy’s Petalworks created classic arrangements in soft pink and white, lining the aisle and the top of the mantel in silver mercury glass vessels accented with lace and hanging pearls. The elaborate Head Table was set with our scrolling Billie’s Roses Ivory linen, which added a hint of pattern to the table in a delicate tone on tone print that didn’t distract from the gold rimmed china and glassware.

A flowing Amsale gown for the bride made a romantic statement – the non-traditional color paired with loose, flowing waves and a stack of statement bangles was the perfect, relaxed look for an elopement! The couple exchanged vows barefoot in front of the fireplace, surrounded by the glow of candlelight.

French Inspired Wedding at a Wine Country Chateau

Kaley and Michael’s French inspired wedding in wine country has to be a new NVL favorite – not only are there gorgeous textiles galore, but An Everlasting Moment helped them design a perfectly chic wedding day! The graceful grounds of Chateau St. Jean Winery in Sonoma inspired the chic French theme behind each detail of Kaley and Michael’s elegant wedding day. The lush green lawns and hedges made for a gorgeous splash of color against the warm stone walls of the chateau – to complement the colors of the landscape, they selected a natural palette of blush and neutral colors. Cocktail tables draped in our Ankara Blush linens dotted the lawn, topped with arrangements of cafe au lait dahlias and ivory roses.

The reception carried the soft colors on to the lawns surrounding the vineyards, with Linea Bone linens on guest tables. Gold edged chargers and metallic table numbers added a hint of glamour to the relaxed elegance of the tables.

One of the best things about being in the special event industry are the amazing, creative connections that we’ve made – in the San Francisco Bay Area, and all around the world! The incredible Very Mary Inspired invited us to take part in her Sketchbook Series, a workshop for creative professionals; whether we were sending gorgeous linens for attendees to sketch or hosting a workshop in our showroom, we have loved being a part of her classes! Now she is taking the Sketchbook Series all around the country, and we are so excited to be going with her (at least, our linens are)! Next stop – Maui!

We were delighted to be a part of The Sketchbook Series East Bay in a big way, by playing host to some of the Bay Area’s most talented event designers and florists in our newly refurbished showroom! True to the spirit of the class, Mary sketched a phenomenal dessert bar to inspire attendees, realizing her vision with Bay Area dessert and design specialists Honeycomb Events & Design. They turned each, intricate detail of her design into delicious reality with a modern, geometric display in a playful palette of aqua, yellow, and coral. A cheerful, patterned cake from The Whole Cake added a fun pop to the geometric inspired treats, asymmetrical backdrop, and hanging gem chandelier, while Soul Flower Design Studio provided truly gorgeous floral designs to accent the spread and our showroom. We picked up her palette with linens in soft shades of aqua, with our raw silk Faux de Soie Aqua and geometric Tetris Aqua Table Runners. We are so excited

Galia Lahav’s latest collection celebrated Tales of the Jazz Age with romantic, glamorous gowns, so the ladies at Kinsley James pulled out all the stops for an Art Deco themed soiree to allow local brides to see the gowns in person. Petite Pomme Design had already decked out the salon with glittering gold decor for the holidays, which was a perfect fit for the theme. They tied everything together with our Lamour Cashmere linens for an elegant, champagne dessert table, and metallic Marrakesh Ivory and Gold linens on cocktail tables. Enchantment Floral provided gorgeous pink and berry arrangements in gold honeycomb vases to accent the tables with rich color!

We can’t leave out the gowns, of course! Galia Lahav is one of the go-do designers for vintage glam bridal style and her latest collection is no exception. The plunging backs make a gorgeous statement for a modern bride with a bombshell soul, especially when paired with intricate details and sparkling beadwork.

We could not be more excited to share our win The Knot Best of Weddings for 2015! It’s especially thrilling because this is the third year in a row that our amazing couples have helped us achieve this amazing accolade!

This year the bar was set especially high, per our very official press release announcing the win –
