Last week we featured a stunning modern wedding that put a graphic spin on our Ankara pattern, but today’s neutral Carmel Valley wedding uses the same print in a dramatically different way! Morgan Events interpreted the laid-back elegance of the Monterey Bay countryside in a chic palette of tone-on-tone neutrals with luxe textures.

This amazing team brought the beauty of the Carmel Valley into Gena and Vittorio’s wedding with beautiful, natural textures. From the urn of olive branches holding the escort cards, to the backdrop of driftwood steps cut into the hillside, each gorgeous image by Michelle Walker Photography conveyed the relaxed elegance of their wedding day. To carry that style indoors to Carmel Valley Ranch‘s Clubhouse, Michael Daigian Design paired our swirling Ankara Taupe linens on long King’s Tables with towering columns of blush and ivory flowers, interspersed with low, clustered centerpieces. Italian phrases meaning ‘to have’ and ‘to hold’ adorned the bride and groom’s chairs, tying in their olive leaf details and Mediterranean inspired table names.

Tennis stars Elizabeth Marsico and Cory Ross envisioned a wedding day that captured the elegance of a recent trip to the South of France. To bring the romance of a French garden indoors, the aptly named Mark’s Garden turned the ceremony space into a bower, with arches of tea roses leading to a floral gazebo at the altar. For the reception, Revelry Event Designers used the swirling print of our Ankara Taupe linens to create a custom GOBO light to shine on the monogrammed dance floor. Gold edged place settings and an effusion of white and cream flowers adorned what Inside Weddings called, ‘linens in fawn and champagne (in) an intricate winding pattern’, which complemented the indoor garden accents of trellis walls and crystal chandeliers.

One look at this California chic shoot and you can hear the birds chirping, smell the fresh grass on the summer breeze, and feel the warmth of the sun. To perfectly capture the laid back elegance of a Southern California wedding, Summer Newman designed a shoot that gorgeously contrasted lush green foliage and vibrant flowers with neutral prints.

To capture the laid-back style of the Hollywood Hills, the aptly named Summer set the shoot in the backyard of a sophisticated SoCal home of a friend. Verdant green hedges surrounding the lawn made it into an oasis of calm and vibrant colors. For the ceremony, K. Burnham Floral Design created an arch of greenery, dotted with bright berries. Elegant neutral chairs and a natural aisle runner added depth to the field of green.

With an intimate celebration in mind, Summer styled a long King’s table with our large-scale print, Ankara Taupe linen. A garland of greenery and bright flowers down the center of the table echoed the ceremony decor, while enormous crystal candelabras added an element of subtle glamour.
